Role & remit.
BJGEA represents the country's licensed exporters of finished jute products — hessian, sacking, yarn, twine, felt, mesh and laminated fabric. The association coordinates with the Ministry of Textiles & Jute, the Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation and the Export Promotion Bureau on policy, quota allocation and the export incentive scheme.
It also issues the association-level documentation that customs and overseas buyers occasionally request alongside the commercial set — membership certificate, exporter standing letters, and pre-shipment endorsements where the destination country requires them.
