Role & remit.
DCCI is among the principal chambers under the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry. Its members range across manufacturing, trading and services; its formal role is to issue and authenticate trade documents (most importantly the Certificate of Origin) and to represent member interests to government and bilateral chambers.
It also runs commercial-arbitration and mediation services, maintains a member-verification register, and convenes the trade-mission programmes that connect Bangladesh businesses with overseas counterparts.

Global Jute Trading has held this membership in continuous good standing — verifiable directly with DCCI.
A DCCI-issued Certificate of Origin is one of the documents in the shipping pack on most of our containers — required by destination-country customs for preferential-duty treatment under GSP, AGOA, EBA and various bilateral schemes. Because we hold direct DCCI membership rather than outsourcing the document, we control the issue timeline and can match it to the bill-of-lading date without surprises.
Chamber membership is also the simplest counterparty check open to any buyer: our standing can be verified directly with DCCI, and the chamber's own member-services line will confirm we are a current member in good order. It is the institutional equivalent of a public registry entry.
